The American Heart Association honored Sylvia Smoller with the Distinguished Scientist Award

The American Heart Association bestowed the Distinguished Scientist Award to Sylvia Wassertheil-Smoller, PhD, in the field of cardiovascular health and research this past week.

The award recognizes individuals for their “significant, original and sustained scientific contributions” to cardiovascular and stroke research, according to the American Heart Association website.

Congratulations Sylvia!
