Our national colors are red, white and blue. WHI is a nation-wide organization. The heart shape is because I like WHI and the program embraces it. A touch of gold because California is the Golden State. I joined WHI because I liked the idea of studying women for problems that are particularly theirs. I also wanted a varied group and I consider myself a healthy person though I have had some problems-born with some. The studies will provide answers to at least some of our particularly incidences. Some people hope to find that they are descended from royalty. I contend that I came from the surfs of Europe. They had to be strong and healthy to survive their rigorous lives. We will probably learn why some women get illnesses that others do not.
