Thank you for giving me this opportunity. After going through menopause and still having everything intact and really not wanting to go on hormones, a doctor put it to me strangely. If I didn't start hormones then I could find myself at 75 with a broken hip and spending my remaining years in a wheelchair. About that time, WHI placed an add for volunteers to a new program. My time as an active participant was cut short when a doctor had me start a hormone cream. Once a year I appreciate still being able to have some input through the written survey. I have three grown daughters and three young granddaughters and if this study will help them and other young women I will be blessed.
