I am proud to be a part of the Women's Health Initiative of Northwestern University Medical School Chicago's Quilt Project.
My square has a feminine theme with pink lace, and a musical theme, "Thank Heaven for Little Girls." This tune kept running through may head as I was thinking about designing it. May all these trials help them in the near future. It makes me proud to be a part of it. Also, I am a breast cancer survivor of 2 years (pink corner ribbons). I hope that all these studies will someday save a lot of lives.
My life has been full for 75 years. Living, loving and raising a family, etc. I am thankful that I can be with my two beautiful grandsons, (Matthew 3, and Jason 2) who someday will grow and marry and that can have "Healthy, Happy lives together."
