The name of this pattern is called Grandmother’s Garden. The center hexagon is made out of a brocade ribbon from my wedding bouquet in 1944. It’s surrounded by a row of pink satin hexagons made from material I used to make a quilt for my daughter in 1958. The outer row of hexagons is from a green and white leaf material from my friend Hedy’s blouse that she made years ago.
