I really don't know how I'm contributing to this program.
Being 77 years old and not taking any kind of medication, I consider myself in good health. However I'm showing signs of arthritis in my hands, shoulders, and knee, but this does not prevent me from leading an active life. I do yard work and walk 3 times a week for 1/2 to 1 hour weather permitting.
I believe in this program and if I'm helping in any way, I'm glad to do so.
I choose a butterfly for my nine-inch quilt square since to me it symbolized life and rebirth. It's also beautiful and free. Just as the butterfly goes through changes in their life I too relate to that.
